Gershen-Orlansky Wedding Officially Causes Polaroid to Jump the Shark

Abram here, writing with breaking news from the World Outside the Wedding. It turns out that the Polaroid film and camera company has gotten wind of the fact that we used a facsimile of their classic instant photograph on our "save the date" magnets. Years of digital photography may have rendered instant film obsolete, but Polaroid was trucking along just fine until our straw broke the camel's back.

The company announced that it would cease making its signature product at the end of 2008. Apparently we are so uncool that associating ourselves with it caused the film's downfall forever.

Sorry.
